Consultation on Environmental Targets for the Environment Act

The Government is consulting on a set of environmental targets to be introduced as part of the Environment Act 2021.
One of the main areas these targets will affect is forestry, so we need to send a strong response that highlights the issues the sector is facing and the concerns about the future of the sector.
We invited your comments and additions to our response, which has now been submitted.
Additionally, we encourage you to submit your own response to the consultation to ensure the forestry and timber sector is well represented (see Confor response below). If you wish to take part, please submit your views by the closing date of 11 May.
