HS2 Woodland Fund open

The HS2 Woodland Fund is now open for applications, please visit the Forestry Commission website for further information about the fund and details of how to apply. The Fund has opened with a wider list of capital items then those published when the Fund was announced in November 2017. The full list can be seen on the Forestry Commission website and is included in an updated version of the application form also available from the above webpage.
This £1 million fund supports the creation of native broadleaf woodland between 1ha and 25ha (depending on whether it connects existing woodland), as well as the restoration of Plantations on Ancient Woodland Sites (PAWS). There is no closing date but funding will be allocated on a first come first served basis, RLR registration is not required and BPS payments can be retained (subject to eligibility) for up to 10 years.
