Forestry is a fantastic industry for people who have served in the military.
You have a range of transferable skills: communication, ability to deal with people, logistics, a get the job done attitude... and that’s before looking at specialisms like engineering, management or operation of all types of equipment.
Don’t just take our word for it: speak to a veteran currently working in forestry. We have a long list of contacts that cover the whole supply chain and can arrange 1:1 conversations to address any queries you may have. Contact richard.hunter@confor.org.uk if interested.
